Innova Halo Star Destroyer

Innova Halo Star Destroyer

Can handle headwinds and throws with off axis torque. Not suggested for beginning players. The Destroyer is a very fast stable long distance driver. This disc is much like a faster Wraith, but with a little more high and low speed stability. Great disc for sidearm throwers and those with lots of power.

"The Destroyer is a fast, stable power driver with significant glide. A great disc for sidearm throwers and those with lots of power."

The halo star destroyer is a beefcake. Its dependable in winds and still has great glide. my max distance is 120-130 m golflines. This works great for 110-115 m flexlines in wind. great disc for intermidiate and up.

The Halo Destroyer is almost a different disc from a regular Star Destroyer. But in a good way.

Halo Destroyers have far more dome than regular Star or Champion Destroyers. This affects the flight characteristics. Based on my findings the Halo Destroyers seem more stable both at the beginning of the flight as well as the end of the flight. This results in a very straight flight path compared to Star Destroyer.

At the start of the flight a Halo Destroyer will have less turn than Star, but the fade also doesn't seem to be as severe as a Star Destroyer. This means that a Halo Destroyer typically has less lateral movement than a Star Destroyer.

Halo Destroyer is a great compliment to Star Destroyer. It provides a more reliable flight while still going almost as far as a Star Destroyer.

For beginners, there's no point in a Halo Destroyer. It will be a massive meat hook and fly roughly the same as any other distance driver.

This disc is absolutely amazing for players with high arm speed! A must have in your bag, however it is a difficult disc for those with not as much power as others. It is very overstable, so it will be difficult to add lots of distance to your throw if you do not have enough power. However, overall this disc is amazing and in this plastic it is both durable and comfortable in the hand.

Calvin's Halo destroyers have nice dome and they fly pretty stable. I can trust those in headwind too. One of the best runs of destroyers.

The destroyer is just a great disc. You can buy several in different plastics and get slightly different stability out of them making for a very versatile setup. I myself bag three right now; one old star that has a good amount of turn, one very straight to fade champion and one overstable, great feeling halo star. If you haven't tried a halo star disc do it right now, there is a reason they are the biggest thing innova has in 2021!

The halo star plastic is even more stunning in person than the pictures online do justice. As a flyer the disc was very overstable; comparable to my 4x McBeth star destroyer with a touch more glide. It was exactly what I had hoped this disc would be.
