• We use our own scale based on the Sleepy Scale Disc Rating as a refernce when rate a disc's condition.
• We always try to rate a disc for what it is, but if there is any question about what we think when we rate it, we always try to rate it lower than it is.
• As the Sleepy Scale is a subjective scale like any other way to scale/rate a used disc we may have different opinions but our word is always the last and if we have scaled a disc at a certain rating then we have done so subjectively that it is what it is when buying a pre-owned/used disc you buy what you get.
• We never give a pre-owned/used disc a 10 because it is used not coming directly from the manufacture!
• The highest scale rating our used discs get is 9 because we do not use any decimals.
• We never sell a disc that is under a 4 in rating as it is not a disc for disc golf anymore.
• We do not grade the condition of the disc if it is inked or not, if it is inked or marked by previus owners in any way, we will mark it as inked!
• We permanently mark over phone number and surname in accordance with the laws of GDPR.

We use the Sleepy Disc Golf Scale as a refernce as that is a common way to scale discs in the community of Disc Golf. 

Scale Disc Golf Discs:

10 - Never thrown, no ink, mint condition.

9 - These are largely brand new, may be field tested or just storage wear, may have some small scratches.

8 - Lightly used with very little wear and some sctraches.

7 - Used with some minor dings or scuffs but still in good condition.

6 - Typical used disc with the usual dings, scratches but still worthy.

5 - Kind of beat up, significant wear and dings, has maybe lost a good bit of its stability.

4 - The frisbee’s obviously seen better days, as we’ve now entered “turnover territory”.

3 - or below - Very beat up, dog chew toy.

Inked Yes vs. Inked No:

Inked Yes: means there is a signature, name, number, or other inked mark, stamps or coloring/dyeing on the disc from a previous owner.

Inked No: means there is no previous owner's mark, but there may be a manufacturer's mark or weight inked.

We do not grade the condition of the disc if it is inked or not, if it is inked or marked in any way, we will mark it as inked!
