River is a great beginner disc that you can keep in the bag as your skill levels progress. For beginners it will probably act like a straight / neutral disc, for more skilled players it is your best friend for long anhyzer lines. Phenomenal glide!

As with most discs it might take a while for your River to behave as you wish (reliant flight path) but once you get it in the "zone" you can use it for most shot shapes.

River is a great starterdisc, just the right amount of flip and it has some nice glide to it especially for the beginners.
Fast armspeeds will find a reliable turnover / rollerdisc. Overall a great disc for that 7speed7glide!

One of my favorites. You can throw beautiful flex shots with it, as well as turnover shots with a soft finish. You can even throw rollers with it, but than you need some arm speed! It flies consistent and has a very laidback flight. It keeps on cruising. The glide of this disc is phenomenal!

Flippy for a power thrower, but still useful!

The first few throws with a River for me did not go well. I was putting the same power and angle through it as I would for a beaten in 100m Kaxe Z, which is what I would call a close comparator, and it would just flip over and burn out on me. It took me a while to work out how best to use it, which is for uphill shots. Shooting it at an uphill angle allowed me to use its long glide to ride up high while still holding the turn for just long enough to make it through the whole flight. It made the bag.

I actually find my River hanging in a bush. It was unmarked and I was grateful for the contribution and added it to my bag. I read about it and started to throw with it. This is by far the best disc in my bag (hmm ...or the Fuse!). Forehand/backhand doesn't matter. It flies amazing. If I'm able to recommend one disc to you beginner golfer out there, ...River it is!!!

Its a fantastic disc for beginner sidearms that want to throw straight with a relatively consistent fade depending on the amount of spin you put on the disc
