Innova XT Nova
Innova XT Nova
The soft rim absorbs impact and sticks the landing while the firm flight plate allows for powerful throws making the Nova an excellent putter and approach disc. The Nova is a unique putter designed with overmold technology. The flight plate is made from a firm Pro material that's fused to a grippy putter Pro plastic rim.
"An overmold putt & approach disc that features a firm flight plate and soft grippy rim."

Horrid. It hit one tree and then begun to fall apart around the rim.

I used this as a throwing putter for a while and was positively surprised. The edge of the disc makes it a nice feel to your hands and flight is predictable with a steady fade at the end. Recommend this highly.

The XT Nova is a putter that definitely stands out from the vast amount of putters due to its design and rim.
The rim of the disc is made of a rubber-like material, while the rest of the disc is made of normal putter plastic. There are four rivets on the bottom of the disc that clearly stand out and are responsible for holding the soft rim in place. These rivets are also definitely noticeable in the rim and can be slightly confusing especially when approaching. When putting, however, they do not interfere at all in my opinion.
The XT Nova has a very straight flight when approaching and has no skip potential due to the soft rim. It is therefore perfect for pinpoint approachen. The flight is very straight and the disc has almost no fade at the end of the flight, which corresponds very accurately to the flight numbers. One also generally has the feeling that the disc is very solid all in all. For smaller hands it is rather not suitable. However, it is very suitable for approachen in slightly stronger winds, as it is not particularly affected at a distance of up to 40 meters. If you drive with full power, then the disc can go relatively quickly in the turn.
Also when putting it shows a very straight flight and is in my opinion very well suited for push putters.
If you are looking for a putter that stands out from the crowd and is great for putting and straight approaches, you definitely can't go wrong with the XT Nova.
