I struggled to find a mid range disc that was shallow enough for my hand, and lion was the perfect disc for me. It's not as deep as a roc3, but the flight characteristics are almost the same. It flies really straight and you it keeps the line you throw it on. I bought one in star plastic, but it was a little bit too flippy. Especially in head wind it kept flipping over. When I tried one in halo star plastic, I immediately fell in love with how it flew. The Halo star plastic is grippy and stable. If you want to neutral, straight flying mid range, get yourself a lion!
