Fun disc. I can not compare it to anything. But if you want something very different from all the other brands, then try this. Great for wooded courses.

Well what can you say about the Koi?
I love it. The flight is really smooth and it sticks where it lands. Great for approach and close putt shots. Tester putts can be a bit difficult because of its floppy nature but with enough practice it should also work.
And the best part is, everybody on your card gets an instant dopamin shot when you pull the Koi out of your bag.
A "Gute Laune Garant" as you would say in germany.

When I first got it I was so disappointed, because it didn’t feel comfortable in my hand. I knew it was going to be floppy but I didn’t understand just how floppy it was. I still wanted to give it a chance and I am glad I did. After just a few throws I really started to like it. I have never thrown a disc like this. It has a predictable flight and I can throw it almost full power!! It won’t fly super long, but it is such a good approach disc. And yes, it sticks where it lands. I don’t have to be afraid that it will take a 20 meter skip or a roll. It sticks to the ground like a pancake.
It is a disc like no other and it took a while to learn how to throw it, but after getting used to it I really like it. I mostly use it for approach throws and death putts, but as a putter it is not my favorite. It is too floppy to putt with, but great for throwing.
And one more thing. Damn it looks good!

Great utility disc! A must-have in my bag. It is easy to get spin on and great for risky upshots or death putts. Always sticks where it lands and works fine to putt with when you don't wanna risk a roll-away.

Needs spin in order to travel, sticks where it lands, absolutely no ground play so perfect for those scary putts/up-shots.

The disc is a lot of fun. First of all, it is very pretty, and makes me feel in control of it.
It is easy to get a firm grip, and I feel confident throwing it.
As a beginner, I feel like I am able to shape the lines I plan on, and it is satisfying to know that it won't bounce off hard surfaces or go rolling away from the landing.
It feels like some putts that normally would bounce off the metal are going in instead, since the disc behaves like a pancake when it hits something.
It is less likely to get make the satisfying sound of metal clinging when you hit the chains, which is a bit of a disappointment.
Will I use this disc when I increase my skill? Hard to say, since I have never been a skilled player. As a beginner, I appreciate this disc, and I think I can grow with it for some time.
