Doomsday Discs Weapons Grade Land Mine
Doomsday Discs Weapons Grade Land Mine
The Land Mine by Doomsday Discs is a strange and unique disc from the Munitions Line of experimental discs. The Land Mine has a very blunt and boxy leading edge with a thick rim, wider than most other putters on the market. This makes the flight very straight and slow with little glide and as such it's a great approach disc, both backhand and forehand. The disc doesn't fade much at the end, it's more like it falls from the air making it easier to park right next to the basket.

Flies more like a 0.5 speed due to it's blocky shape, the slowest disc I have ever thrown. For me, this is a must have for very short approaches and forehand throw-ins (30-50m), flies laser straight, lands flat every time and does not bounce. I rarely throw it backhand. The weapons grade plastic feels good but is not durable at all, every time the disc hits anything it leaves a mark. Basically, if you don't like really long jump putts and would rather just flick a disc into the basket, you should give this a try.
