A friend of mine once said to me: Everybody needs a Thrasher in his bag. The Thrasher is without doubt a very good disc, but in my eyes not indispensable.
All in all, the Thrasher is a very understable disc, which despite the strong turn, due to the fade value of 2 usually comes back again. There are relatively many Disctance drivers with similar flight numbers as the Thrasher. However, what makes the Thrasher stand out is the relatively slow turn, which makes it perfect for backhand flex shots if you give it the appropriate height. If you throw the disc relatively flat, it is a super roller disc. For beginners, the disc is a relatively good entry into the high speed segment. Nevertheless, I would give the Thasher rather a 10 as a speed value and not a 12, because it is already significantly slower compared to a Zeus or a Hades, for example.
To throw the Thrasher forehand, you need a relatively good forehand technique, otherwise you can bring the disc relatively quickly in a very strong turn.
The Esp plastic corresponds more to the specified flight values, as the Z plastic, because this is a tad more overstable and gives the Thrasher a relatively straight flight. I prefer in comparison, however, in any case the Avenger SS or the Hades.
