Great disc for distance. Be careful in a headwind though as it tends to turn over and not come back.
My distance with the Wave: 125 meters

Amazing disc for every skill level. In my group of friends we really love this disc. It holds any angle and just keeps going. Great for  easy distance. Have one in Eclipse, where it's more stable and one in fission which is more understable. I personally like my Eclipse a bit more since it's not as effected by wind

Great disc for forehands and backhands. Flippy without being too flippy. My main distance driver for long forehands. Great for hyzerflips to straight shots.

Bought a fission wave just to try something new, it's quickly becoming my new go to distance driver in calm wind conditions. I use a 173g. Thrown flat, it gives me easy distance with alot of turn and a smooth fade at the end. Thrown with a little hyzer it flips up and goes very straight with a small fade at the end. The fission plastic feels really good, medium softness and a good grip.

5 stars for the disc that allowed a 45yo disc golfer with less than a year of experience to break the 100 meters barrier!

What I like with the MVP discs is that they are not super flippy despite a low weight (150 for my Fission Wave).

PS : turn becomes -2.5 in Fission plastic

The Wave is my go to distance driver. Its profile is razor flat and just deep enough to fit in my hand nicely. With power, this thing will flip up and hold straight forever, the turn and fade almost fighting each other for control until the smooth fade eventually wins out.

Throw it flat and it will turn over, but never enough to crash and burn on you.

The Wave is a very reliable disc, I find. It slices through wind and is surprisingly glidey for its flatness.
