MVP Reactor

The MVP Reactor is a true workhorse midrange that does what you tell it to. Long hyzers, straight shots and long panning anhyzers are no match for the Reactor. Beginner to pro, you'll find a great flying midrange in the Reactor.

The Reactor is the first Next Generation midrange developed by MVP after they discontinued several older discs in 2019.

My first MVP mid, and it has never left my bag since I got it. I even got a backup in case I lose it. It flies forever, and you can really put power on the disc. As it gets more beat in it becomes a straigth flying mid. kinda like a new Hex.

All of last year I was looking for a disc to slot in between my Buzzzes and my BuzzzOS and after trying EMac Truths, Nebulas, Methods, MD3s and probably more discs I cant remember now, I tried the Reactor.

If you like the feel of the Buzzz, then you will like the feel of the Reactor too. It feels fast for a mid, which in my opinion Buzzzes also do, and the Reactor is also very flat which some Buzzzes are too. The Reactor flies great, minimal turn and a solid and controllable fade. Its also surprisingly torque resistant and handles my fairly wobbly forehand quite well, making it a very versatile and fun disc to throw.

The Reactor is another superb midrange disc by MVP. It feels very good in the hand and instills a lot of confidence. However, I am having a struggle at the moment to find a spot for it in the bag, since I don't want to carry too many midranges. Other than the reactor, I use a Hex and a Pyro, which cover most midrange shots. At the moment, the reactor goes in the bag if there is a little wind, and the Hex could become a little finicky. I think it says something about the quality of MVP midranges, because the Reactor is such a good disc, plus the new fission reactor goes really far.

The Reactor has become a workhorse midrange for me. Specifically in glow plastic.

The Feel of the Reactor is quite shallow, thus making it a bit faster than your typical 5 speed midrange. Feels great both modified fan and power grip for me. It's profile is also very flat.

The Flight is comparable to your more overstable buzzz's and md3's, although a bit faster than these. Even though flat, the Reactor is seriously glidey and goes really far. Sometimes comparable with my fairways.

It took two throws with the Reactor to convice me that it was the best midrange I've ever thrown.  I can throw it hard with a slight hyzer and it will go straight with a reliable fade at the end. The gyro makes the disc holfs it lines very well and the disc holds up in well in wind too on a hyzer release. A predictable and dependable midrange.

My favorite mid. Reliable and accurate. Flies nearly straight with a touch of turn and a nice fade at the end. Works well in the wind and the plastic feels great with nice grip, unless it is wet.
