The berg in k3 plastic is my favorite of the bergs. Has the perfect feel and softness for me. its a "straight/stable" disc in the beginning but beats in to be a hyzerflip to flat disc. it just goes straight were you aim it. This one i also forehand and its great for short holes and upshots when u dont want to fade left or right.

The berg is a amazing disc. When you understand what to use it for it will be a gamechanger for any player. Its a very forgiving disc and great disc for upshots. it wont go far past the basket since it wont glide far. At max effort i can mabye get this disc 70 m, but normally i trow this for 40-50 m upshots when i dont want to go long . The nice this is that it can be missreleased and still be a good shot since it doesnt fade alot and doesnt glide much. You most likely will be withing the circle most of the times.
great disc can recommend

It is just the best point and shoot disc to get you out of some hard places. Hold pretty much every angle you put on it. It has no fade tho so if you try and get it to the basket the best way is to aim at the basket. Also the disc does not like to glide much, so if you pull the Berg out, you better be not more than 60m away from your intended target! Overall a good get out of jail disc!

The Berg is a very unique disc.
The basic idea of Berg is that it flies straight, then stalls in the air and drops in place with barely any lateral movement. It's impossible to accidentally throw the Berg far farther than attempted, and it's nearly as impossible to end up too much left or right of the target.
I like this concept for shots where I would otherwise have to power down on a 4-speed approach disc or a 2-3-speed putter. I would often overshoot a short shot with those discs, but that barely ever happens with the Berg.
The shape of the Berg is as unique as its flight path. It has a massive puddle top, and the disc seems very deep, but because of the puddle top it doesn't feel as deep as it looks. I don't generally like forehanding deeper discs, but the Berg works just fine on both forehand and backhand.
I throw the Berg from anywhere between 30-60 meters to the pin. I can pretty much throw a regular forehand shot with the Berg and I know it will stop before flying past 60 meters.
The Berg is also useful for stalling anhyzer lines, for example when you need to dodge a tree with either backhand or forehand. You can throw the Berg high in a severe anhyzer, and it will still manage to land softly and not go too deep of the target. I've attempted this same shot with regular putters and it's easy to overshoot or cut roll.
The K3 plastic beats in with time, and it becomes a bit less stable than the K1 Soft that I have. If I throw these two at max power with the backhand, the K1 Soft doesn't turn at all, it will just fly straight for a while and drop down on a straight line. The beat-in K3 Berg will turn mildly to the right with a similar shot.
I love the feel of both the K3 and K1 Soft plastics. The K1 Soft is ridiculously soft, but for the Berg it somehow works perfectly. The K3 is the grippiest base plastic from any manufacturer that I've tried.
All in all, you should give the Berg a try. The K3 ones don't cost much, and it's definitely a disc type that you haven't seen elsewhere.

My prefered type of Berg!
When thrown hard and little hyzer it flips up and it fly straight. Then the best part, it fades DOWN.
This is why I bag a K3 Berg.
Approachgame made easier with both forehand and backhand ??
(Keep in mind that it could feel a bit odd in the hand but give it a try)

When you don't want to learn those fancy touchy anhyzer nose-up approaches, the berg is for you.
In K1 soft plastic you get a premium disc with little skip. Cheatcode in approaches. In this plastic I feel that it's more true to it's flightnumbers than in K3. So keep that in mind when you are looking for your prefered flight of the Berg! ??

The Berg is fantastic for approaches, especially forehand. There is something magical about this disc. The Berg just suddenly drops out of the sky near the basket every time, where I would go too far sometimes with a zone or other approach discs. It allows you to put more power behind it so in a certain range it gives you more control. I don't have a backhand approach game, because this disc won't allow me to use it. Up to 60m, this disc can do it all.

Best disc in the history of discgolf.

Best approach disc ever.

For me, a must have in my bag for approach shots. I use this disc mainly for forehand approaches and it flies very straight for up to 50m before it fades a little. Throwing it at maximum power, it does turn over a little. Either way, amazing disc responsible for not only one of two throw-ins.

My favorite putter!
Started discgolf a little over 8 months ago and a friend recommend to join the Berg-Gang... I tried the K3 hard and instantly fell in love with it. My most used putter till this point.
Expanded the collection with a k1 soft and another k3 hard, the k1 soft is very floppy but has a nice feel to it.
Recommend for a lot of players to have a putter that just drops and never will get far from the basket. Very safe disc to play

Basically, here you have a disc in fantastic plastic that goes exactly on the line you put it on without turning no matter how much power you put.
The disc flies for 30-50 metres, depending on your power before it drops out of the sky like a brick. If you feel like running it more often with forehand flicks this disc has given me more than one throw-in.

Honestly a must have! easily my most used approach disc great for those touchy shots.

Most used disc in my bag. 100% trustworthy no matter the power you put on it. The definition of a point-and-shoot disc. Beginners and advanced players alike will love it for it's reliability and consistency.
Besides using it for most upshots from about 50m and in, I typically pull it out for headwind or downhill puts - plus when I need to hit an island green and just sit, anywhere around the 50-70m mark.

This disc doesn't want to fly (guess that's what happens when you replace the central dome with a depression). It feels like throwing a disc in the Sangoku's gravity room, set to maximum. And that's why you need it!
Close your eyes, imagine yourself 20-30 meters from the basket, and this appetizing birdie is eyeing you. What to throw? A Berg!!!! Because even if you miss, your comeback putt shouldn't be longer than 5 meters (or it was not a birdie you were looking for, rather a double bogey :D ).
Note that I never putt with this disc, but it's one of my main approach disc with it's solid fade.

Like many others sy, you just either hate it or love it. In my case this is maybe my most reliable disc in my bag except made putts this is by far the disc with most chain hits. And from so many different angles. In my my mind from a certain distance the most controllable approach disc there is. Mainly I use mine forehand approach from 50m to basket and closer. The only negatiev thing about the Berg is, when you get used to it so much it can slow down your development with other discs as it does not maybe needs the most finesse to throw.

The Berg... Hate it or love it, it is a very unique mold. I personally love the Berg, but the weird shape of it puts some people off. When thrown the Berg will go straight and then just dump. Whats great about it is that it doesnt hyzerdump like most overstable approach discs do, but more just falls out of the sky. It is on the overstable side when throwing with anhyzer though, and will fight out of it to a certain degree. I use it mainly for forehand approaches or when distance control is critical. Very fun disc to use and could become an important tool in your bag for sure.
