My Flight Ratings 7/4/-1/3 Somewhat Beginner Friendly

Ease of Use: As a novice disc golfer, I found the Innova Eagle to be incredibly forgiving and easy to throw. Its moderate stability and predictable flight path make it a great choice for beginners looking to develop their throwing technique without feeling overwhelmed by overly understable or overstable discs. The Eagle's reliable fade at the end of the flight helps to correct slight throwing errors, providing confidence to players as they refine their form.

Distance and Control: One of the most rewarding aspects of the Innova Eagle for beginners is its balance of distance potential and controllability. While it may not offer the same maximum distance as some high-speed drivers, the Eagle provides ample distance for players just starting to build their arm speed. Additionally, its consistent flight allows beginners to focus on developing their accuracy and control, rather than worrying about excessive turn or fade.

Versatility: For beginners exploring different shot types and techniques, the Innova Eagle shines with its versatility. Whether executing straight shots, gentle hyzers, or controlled turnovers, this disc responds well to a variety of throwing styles. This versatility encourages experimentation and skill development, empowering beginners to discover their own throwing preferences and strategies as they progress in the sport.

Affordability: Another advantage of the Innova Eagle for beginners is its affordability. As an entry-level disc, it offers excellent value for the price, allowing newcomers to start building their disc golf arsenal without breaking the bank. Its durable construction ensures longevity, providing beginners with a reliable disc they can continue to use as they advance in skill and experience.

In summary, the Innova Eagle is an excellent choice for beginner disc golfers seeking a user-friendly disc that offers a balance of distance, control, and versatility. Its forgiving flight characteristics, coupled with its affordability, make it an ideal companion for players embarking on their disc golf journey. Whether navigating the fairways of their local course or honing their skills in casual rounds with friends, beginners can trust the Innova Eagle to help them develop their game with confidence and enjoyment.

Got the new Glow Halo Star run becaus of the love I have for my CG champ barsby eagle.

Abit more overstable but workable for my 310 arm, I hope it will beat into that nice shot shaping 7speed I love from my first eagle.

Ive tried just about every eagle in any plastic there is even CE. and the barsby run color glow 2022 was as close as it come to the CE edition. these are great on the the flatter end with out being glideless hawgs like some domey infused ones can. pair well with my hawkeyes. color glow plastic is awesome!

After having seen Calvin Heimburg play amazing in wood courses with the Innova Eagle, I thought I would give it a try. Great stable disc, perfect for those straight shoots. The only problem for me, was the feel. The little dome there was on the disc and the shallow rim, made it uncomfortable in the hand. Everytime I would throw it, I feared it would slip out. I never did, but the insecurity was to much for me.

The problem could also be, that im not Calvin!

Eagle is very easy to control and offers predictable, little bit understable flight (new champion is overstable) and huge fade at the end. I love this disc on open courses, where both distance and position matters, but in woods it is also very useful. It feels great in hand for both backhand and forehand.

I would recommend Eagle to beginners as first overstable fairway driver. After gaining some skills and experience it will become go to disc for countless shots. Definitely one of the best fairway drivers on the market.

For me this disc feels and flies like a slower firebird, with just a touch of high speed turn. Amazing for straight shots with a reliable fade up to about 90m.

Easy to hyzer-flip, nice s-curve. One of my most thrown discs.
