Great, dependable disc for putt and approach. Been in my bag mixed with regular Aviars of different wear since early 2000's.
I found this one in KC-plastic slightly more stable than regular Aviar – so I would recommend it as a throwing putter foremost.

Best putter I have tried! Easy release and perfect grip for my hand!

I started putting with a regular DX Aviar but never really had a clean release and a confident putt. I then figured, for my putting style and the way I hold my putter, a beaded putter would be the way to go, so I bought and/or tried 10 different molds: Aviar, Link, P2, Myth, Shogun, Whale, Penrose, Ruru, Sensei and the KC Pro Aviar.
The first one I used was the KC Pro Aviar and I stick with it ever since. The release is good, the plastic is nice and stiff, yet grippy enough. In fact, as the plastic is more durable as DX for example, the KC Pro Aviar is not only a great putter but also a solid upshot disc. It also has enough stability to putt into a headwind with it.
The Myth, being arguably the same mold as the KC Pro Aviar, in the X-Blend Plastic, did not perform as good as the KC Pro. The plastic is way softer, beats in quicker, and overall didnt give me the confidence I need in C1.
If it wasn't for the KC Pro, I would probably have opted for the Link (Exo Hard). The feel is great, altough the profile is more shallow than the kc pro. The Shogun in the Active Base plastic is a nice mold, but the plastic didnt convince me. P2 and Sensei have no bead, which is why dropped them, too.
The Innova Whale is nice, but too rare to find, so I opted against it. Also it is not as stable as the KCPAviar.
The RPM Ruru has a very sharp bead and I disliked both plastic and feel of the disc. The EV-7 Penrose instead went into my upshot-disc-slot. It was nice and OS in the beginning and the plastic feels awesome. The medium firm plastic beats in quite quickly though and now it is rather a straight flyer with a minimal fade.
