Discraft Luna
Luna
The Luna is a great neutral flying putter, making it a staple for heavily wooded and open style courses. This control allows The Luna to take advantage of any angle or putting style and showcase it at its full potential. You may have noticed the flight numbers on the Luna have been updated. This is to better reflect the true flight of Luna, the disc mold has not changed. The Luna is a new putter co-designed from start to finish with Paul McBeth. The Luna features a new and unique plastic blend, combining the fan favorites of Jawbreaker and the durability and extra tackiness of rubber. The melding and firming process of these two materials makes for a great feel in the hand and gives the utmost confidence on the course.
Discraft gives the Luna a stability rating of 1.0

My go to throwing putter in Z plastic. Its consitantly slight understandle and great for tight stright shots or a huge turnover. Love this disc, but the flightnumbers are not true :')

I use this as my throwing putter and it feels really good.
I think it is more overstable, than the ESP and Speciel Blend plastic, which is nice.
You can still use the disc for turnovers, and it flips up to flat or turn when throwing it hard, depending on your angle.
If you release it flat, it flies straight for a long time, with a perfect fade in the end.

The luna is and has been the furthest flying putter in my bag. I can easily get this 100 . The glide in this thing is amazing. The stability on these is not 3 . i would call this a neutral flying disc. It flips up striaght from a hyzer , Even gets som turn.
Some runs are more stable like 20/21 i think. But they are still kinda straight.

Flatness: 2 pretty flat.
Stiffness: 5 somewhat stiff
Really great putt putter, has good fade. If you need to hyzer around a tree then it is really good for that. For jump putts it can get a lot of flight out of it if you put it on anhyzer, which it will fight out off.

Its stability and comfortable feel make it a great choice for consistent drives and accurate approaches. The Luna's dependable fade helps it find the chains with ease.

The Luna is a very nice putter.
I like the way it feels in my hand, and that there is no edges on the disc.
It pretty much flies the way you release it out of your hand. But you are still able to hyzer flip it to straight.
I feel that the Speciel Blend is a bit more understable than the Big Z.
I only use Speciel Blend for putting.
I can only recommend this disc!

I use Luna for both putting (Special Blend) and throwing (Big Z) and I think this is the most versatile straight putter I've ever tested (Envy is second).
As a putting putter it is very reliable, to me it's the most comfortable disc I've tried and has decent fade at the end of the flight and that's the feature which caused me a lot of problems after switching from Aviars. The reason I changed the putter was wind - just wanted my disc to be less affected by unexpected wind blows and Luna does it perfectly. However I had to switch my putting style, for more spin and power to make it fly better. If you are used to touchy dead straight putts, I would never recommend Luna, but if you want extra confidence in different conditions, Luna is perfect.
As a throwing putter Luna is a straight flier with sooo much glide (flies as far as midranges). I see a lot of people disagree with 3 fade, but I find it a great number. The best I can say about Luna is versatile. If you want it to fly straight, it flies straight. If you want it to turn and never come back, it does that. There are also ways to make it fade hard. The difference between Zone and Luna fade is Zone, when starts fade wants to hit the ground as soon as possible, Luna during fade still glides well and travels decent distance when fading. Basically if you learn to control Luna, it can do the several putters job, but it requires great touch and control. I find Luna easy disc to learn, but difficult to master.
Absolute masterpiece from Discraft

Great feeling putter with just the right amount of LSS for spin/spush-putting. Also works great for approaches.

The Luna, it is a great disc for all skill levels. Used by both pros and beginners it can be a useful disc for everyone.
So far, I've tested the Luna in 3 different plastic types where these are the Jawbreaker, Big Z and Metallic Z plastic types. Firstly, the Jawbreaker Luna. The plastic in general is perfect for putting, as it is great in basically all conditions. No matter what, it is grippy. Next, the Big Z Luna and Metallic Z Luna, which are known as the throwing putter Lunas. The Big Z is the most understable out of these whilst the Metallic Z is a bit more stable. Grip wise, I prefer the Big Z Luna. Flight wise, I prefer the Metallic Z. So, this is a case of what you prefer personally and what feels better in your hand.
The flight numbers of the Luna are however wrong in my opinion. The Luna is not as overstable as these numbers signify. 3 fade is waaay too much. It is not even close to as overstable as the Zone, which also has 3 fade. Compared to the Zone, the Luna is straight flying. Overall, this is my only complaint about the Luna

I have tested the Luna in three different types of plastic so far. The Jawbreaker Luna is perfect for players who like flat putters. The plastic is perfect for cold temperatures and even in the snow it still gives the right grip. In terms of feel, it is very close to the Bro-D Roach. The BigZ Luna is the more understable version of the throwing putter, while the Tour Series Luna has a slightly more overstable flight. I personally like the Tour Series Luna better and am a big fan of the Tour Series plastic. I think you definitely can't go wrong with a Luna.
However, the flight of the Luna never equates to a +3 fade, and when I compare it to the Zone, it doesn't fade at all.

The Luna is a very great putter with a nice feel and a very good grip, personally I like the Luna as a putting putter but it can be thrown very well! If you are looking for a new putter that is good both in the wind and for normal putts you have found the right disc here.
