The Pterodactylus is a manageable driver for young disc golfers. The rim isn't too wide. It is lightweight, floats in water, and is aimed at a young players or those players without a lot of arm speed. The Pterodactylus lands in the "distance driver" category and provides a great gateway disc to longer, more impressive throws down the fairway.
NOTE: The Pterodactylus is made with the mold for the ABC Secret Weapon but it isn't PDGA approved for use in PDGA sanctioned events.
