Axiom Pyro

The Axiom Pyro is a reliably overstable midrange that will always fade at the end. Power throwers can expect a straight flying midrange that holds up against the wind and fades at the end without turning over. Less experienced players will have a go-to hyzer mid that never falters.

Great far flying midrange with a dependable fade. After the Crave (and my putter of course) this is the disc I throw the most. Reliable and controlable on both BH and FH but not so overstable that it'll crash and burn.

Very reliable relatively overstable midrange. No tendencies to flip, even at full power.
A slight anhyzer release will come back and fade. Great hand-feel, one of the most comfortable discs to hold.

Very reliable midrange. Also very forehand friendly.

It is more overstable then a reactor for sure, it keeps a straigth flight for long and then a good fade at the end. I will say it can go a lot futher than a lot of other mids, and I would say it has a bit more glide then what the number suggest. Because it is not so deep, it makes a good forehand mid too

Innitially couldn't throw this disc or couldt see a lot of difference to my Zone. But after lying around for two years, I grabbed them again and fell in love with it. The missing spot in my midrange slot.

For me the disc flies pretty straight with a reliable finnish in the end (other than fading straight out the hand like others do). You can really pull on it, even on anhyzer it will always come back. flyes much farther then my Zone and is more wind and torque resistant.

It sits perfectly next to my Hex or the Buzzz

really nice midrange that can take a good forehand! it goes great on both throws and will always fade. it flies like a faster zone with a little less fade

The Pyro is a great disc for both backhand and forehand. I would say that the pyro is longer zone, or shorter fresh eagle. Gets sneaky distance and you can really rely on it in a headwind. Beefy, but feels good in the hand. I rely on hexes in my mid-game but I also have a pyro in the bag. I find the Pyro useful in many situations.
