It&#8217;s nice to have a full course map at the beginning of the course, individual tee signs for each hole, and directional arrows where it may be difficult to find the next teepad.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on the course layout, it also may be necessary to include &#8220;mandatory&#8221; arrows to require disc golfers to throw through a desired lane.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Characteristics of Good Tee Signs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-16890\" src=\"https:\/\/rocketdiscs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/NibleyTeeSign-e1484866877868-196x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"196\" height=\"300\" \/>While there are a number of ways and methods to make tee signs, good tee signs typical display:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hole Number<\/li>\n<li>Hole Par<\/li>\n<li>Distance to the Pin<\/li>\n<li>All Pin Locations (If there are multiple basket locations it&#8217;s also helpful to have a way to indicate which location the basket is in that day).<\/li>\n<li>Map that shows reference point of trees and other obstacles<\/li>\n<li>Hole rules including any areas that are considered Out of Bounds<\/li>\n<li>Direction to next tee pad if tee pad when not obvious<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Tee Sign Examples<\/h3>\n\n<h3>Examples of Course Maps<\/h3>\n\n<h3>Tee Sign Advertisements to Raise Money for The Course<\/h3>\n<p>Having a section of tee signs to be used for advertising is a great way to subsidize costs and help pay for a course.
